Celtics Take 2-0 Lead in Eastern Conference Finals

Brown Explodes for 40 Points

Jaylen Brown put on a show for the Boston Celtics on Friday night, erupting for 40 points to lead his team to a 126-110 victory over the Indiana Pacers and a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. Brown was on fire from the start, hitting 15-of-25 shots from the field, including 6-of-11 from three-point range. He also grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

Celtics One Win Away from NBA Finals

With the win, the Celtics are now one win away from reaching the NBA Finals. They will have a chance to close out the series on Sunday night when they host the Pacers in Game 3.

The Pacers put up a good fight in Game 2, but they were ultimately no match for the Celtics. Domantas Sabonis led the way for Indiana with 24 points and 13 rebounds, but he had little help from his teammates. Malcolm Brogdon added 18 points, but he shot just 7-of-20 from the field.

The Celtics were able to take control of the game in the third quarter. They outscored the Pacers 32-19 in the period, and they never looked back. Brown was a key part of that run, scoring 10 points in the third quarter.

The Pacers will need to regroup quickly if they want to avoid being swept in the series. They will have a chance to do so on Sunday night when they host the Celtics in Game 3.
